Hi, my name is Krzysztof Wojsław, call me Kris.
A few years into working, I realized how much of my potential was being flushed down the toilet. I knew already then that computational design was the key to changing what frustrated me. That’s when my romance with Grasshopper began.
I can’t sit and watch engineers and architects whose priceless brainpower is way too often wasted on things that could be done by a script. This is why I do what I do. I want to invite you to join the transformation.
Whom would you be joining exactly, and why dare I think I have what it takes to teach anyone anything?
A few highlights in my portfolio so far that give me confidence to do what I do.
I was appointed to the Randselva Bridge project and used computational design as the matrix for its implementation. The world´s longest bridge, built without drawings, based solely on BIM models, shook the AEC industry. The Randselva Bridge was selected as the best BIM project out of 130 other candidates on Tekla BIM Awards 2020.
In 2019, I co-founded BIMcorner.com blog & YouTube channel to spread the knowledge and drive change bottom-up.
I started teaching colleagues at work, business clients’ teams, and before I knew it, I was a lecturer at technological universities (NTNU, Zigurad).
In 2021, I won the prestigious EFCA Future Leaders award for Europe’s most talented engineer.
I was invited to speak at countless prestigious conferences, including BILT Europe and Dimensions in Las Vegas, all because of my computational design expertise and drive for change. Maybe also because of the funny memes I show in my conference presentations. 🤫

Founding LearnGrasshopper.com in 2022 was a huge milestone, but at the same time, it felt like an obvious consequence of everything that had been happening so far.

I’m damn proud of who I’ve had a chance to create the training with. Meet the gang…
Grzegorz Olszewski
- Grasshopper Tekla Drawing Link Training
Meet Greg, master of the Tekla Open API, the creator of the Grasshopper Tekla Drawing Link in the flesh. People said you can’t automate drawings in Tekla – he proved them wrong. Now, thousands of users rely on his work every day. In an extra module, he also teaches our students C#, showing them how to build their own tools and go beyond Grasshopper.
Sverre Haakonsen
- Python in Grasshopper Training
Sverre, snake charmer with PhD in Conceptual Structural design, who holds Python wrapped around his finger. 🐍 He designed his Python training to be gamified and fun. In the Python in AEC Training, Sverre goes far beyond Grasshopper, showing how to program in Visual Studio Code, create documentation in Jupyter Notebook, and use GitHub for collaboration. The course demonstrates how Python can be applied with different AEC tools such as Revit, Speckle, and ViktorAI.
Marcin Luczkowski
- C# in Grasshopper Training
Marcin is one of the world’s youngest computational engineers to earn the title of a Professor. Every year, Norwegian students compete for a spot to write their Master’s thesis in his department, where he teaches Grasshopper and C#. His outstanding training program lets you start with C# from scratch. He’s loved for explaining complex topics in a simple (among others!). Beyond Grasshopper, in the C# training also shows how to access different software’s APIs. For example, the training includes lessons on Visual Studio, using C# in Excel, Speckle, and Karamba.
Junghwo Park
- Grasshopper in Revit Training
Junghwo is an architect with an engineering mindset – a rare bird in our industry. He’s a Revit power user and a certified Rhino 3D instructor at Robert McNeel & Associates, specializing in Rhino.Inside Revit. He has spoken multiple times at Autodesk University and was the very first to deliver lectures on Rhino.Inside Revit at the event. As a VDC and BIM practitioner, as well as a YouTube educator, Junghwo brings both deep expertise and a talent for teaching into the Grasshopper in Revit training.
Krzysztof Wojsław
- Founder of LearnGrasshopper.com
- Grasshopper Basics Training
- Fundamentals Training
- Grasshopper in Tekla training
And me, Kris, creator of the LearnGrasshopper.com platform, author of Grasshopper Basics, Grasshopper Fundamentals, and Grasshopper in Tekla training (more coming!). Authorized Rhino Trainer, computational design fanatic, fulfilled engineer.
Enough of the fancy-pancy work stuff. I also have a life 😉
I’m always on the move, either at a CrossFit training, solo bikepacking, traveling and hiking in the mountains with my wife (we have a soft spot for the Tatra Mountains and Alps), or just walking in the nearby woods at dawn. I read world-class literature and listen to biographies and self-development audiobooks. My friendships have lasted forever, my family is really close, wherever I go, I meet amazing, talented, good people. Life’s good. And being fulfilled and excited about the thing I do 8 hours a day, every day, for years, really is an important piece of the puzzle in this picture.
I am curious to see what the future brings.
And some of the things I hope the future brings for you are…
{ Courage }
to change what frustrates you, grow into your full potential, and beyond.
{ Freedom }
to work on tasks and projects that excite you and are in line with your expertise.
{ Time }
for yourself, peaceful rest, people you love, and personal growth.
Is this what you also wish for yourself?
